Participate in a variety of enjoyable physical activities that promote lifelong healthy active living. Play golf, tennis, frisbee, learn karate, yoga, and have the opportunity to kayak. Your learning will include the application of movement principles to refine your skills, become fit, and enhance your competence, fitness, and health. Examine issues related to healthy sexuality, healthy eating, substance use and abuse, and the use of informed decision-making, conflict resolution, and social skills in making personal choices. Make excellent meals, and share them with the group and others.

  • Demonstrate personal competence in applying movement skills and principles.
  • Explore strategies that can enhance your participation in recreation and sport activities.
  • Participate in a balanced instructional program that includes a wide variety of physical activities.
  • Get in shape, develop a personal training plan, and begin it.
  • Earn your St. John's Ambulance First Aid Certificate.
  • Identify ways of taking appropriate action in new situations based on knowledge of positive decisions related to healthy active living.
  • Explore skills for conflict resolution, anger management, and mediation.
  • Play games with others, and learn about working in and leading groups.
